The Calvary Baptist Church and Christian Academy will be hosting "The War of Special Forces" on November 10-15. This is an exciting 3-team competition for any and all teens. The teens will be divided up into one of three team; Incredible Rangers, Mighty Marines, and the Super Seals. The teams will participate in fun and exciting competitions like "Spoke Tackle", America's roughest race, "Big Ball Basketball and Volleyball", with a 4 foot ball, "Tube Tug", with tractor tubes, and much more. There will also be comedy routines, free food, and Bible preaching. Come hear how Jesus Christ offers forgiveness and eternal life.
Evangelist Jim Van Gelderen will be speaking in the services on Sunday, November 10th. Starting Monday and Tuesday, teens are invited to go recruiting in the Fort Walton Beach area in the afternoons. Rally nights will be on the November 13-15 starting at 6:00 pm and ending at 8:30 pm.
The church is still looking for more volunteers to help with the war. There is a sign-up sheet in the foyer. For more information about volunteering please contact the church office or Pastor Tim Foster.
