This summer we are holding several, 2 week long, robotics camps for students entering 4th-8th grades. These camps will allow your student to design, build, test and program robots using Lego Mindstorms technology. Through these camps students will apply real world math and science concepts, while learning critical thinking, team building and presentation skills. Each camp is centered around a real-world scientific problem. In Level 1 – Space Mission – students talk about what would be necessary to explore and even colonize Mars. In Level 2 – Trash Trek – students learn how important it is to limit our production of waste. In Level 3 – Nature’s Fury – students explore the dangers faced during severe storms. These camps are available to all students entering 4th-8th grades, but those interested in joining our elementary First Lego League team are especially encouraged to take part. Each camp will meet daily from 3-5 pm for 2 weeks.
Week 1: June 26 – July 7 (no camp July 4 th ) (Space Mission – Level 1)
Week 2: July 10 – 21 (Nature’s Fury – Level 2)
Week 3: July 31 – Aug 11 (Trash Trek – Level 2)
